the wonders of social networking...

So I have finally succumbed to peer-pressure and signed-up for a Facebook account.

I've decided a few months back that I'm way too old to sign-up for a new social networking site, (read: too lazy) but here I am!

So far Facebook is quite entertaining... and just recently it informed me that 4 of my friends are IDIOTS!! (yes, exactly in that font type) :)

See how entertaining it is? :P

M.I.A....as usual...

it sucks when other people start to do the things that you're supposed to be doing...

m9dhatter should pay for my rehab...

I'm currently addicted to this game which m9dhatter recommended a few days ago...

The object of the game is to plant several types of "zombie-fighting" plants in your backyard to protect you from brain-eating zombies.

the war-zone

yes, they aren't kidding... they will eat your brains!!!

There are several zombie-fighting plants available, each with it's own special abilities. New plants are unlocked almost every after round.

the arsenal

The zombies also come in different shapes and sizes.

yes... that's a "michael-jackson-in-thriller-MTV" zombie... RIP MJ

I have already finished the "Adventure" section of the game. Now I'm playing the mini-games...

I-CANT-STOP... MUST-STOP... BUT-CANT...

yep! keep of the grass!!!

what's wrong with me?!!!

I was asked the question:

"what number comes next to 312?"

and the first thing that came to my mind? -- "645", then this number is followed by "978" (as in the sequence pattern of highest number, followed by the lowest, followed by the middle number)

after a few seconds, i finally realized that the answer is simply "313"... i know, i think I'm sick somewhere in my head...

I should stop overanalyzing... simple things tend to look complicated when I think about them too much...

I AM BORED...

...VERY BORED...

thunder never strikes twice on the same place...

I HOPE SO!

On a related note on my H1N1-scare:

The 21st case is a 21-year-old man studying in Australia. The Indonesian arrived in Singapore from Melbourne on Singapore Airlines Flight SQ 228 on Tuesday night. He was seated at row 47.

(from singaporetrivia.wordpress.com)

This was a news snippet dated on June 12. And guess what... My flight from Melbourne to Singapore yesterday (June 17) was also on SQ 228. And where was I seated? Row 47!

Hmmnn...... what are the odds? :P

lock-down!

I'm quarantined at the moment... :( (self-imposed, nothing to worry about, so far....)

Just came back from Melbourne yesterday night. Just as we were about to alight the plane, the pilot announced that there were 2 passengers who developed high fever during the 7-hour flight.

We were then requested to fill-up a pink slip containing all our contact information. Our temperatures were checked one by one, aside from the mass body temperature check while walking towards immigration.

There were no news on which row numbers the 2 passengers were seated. If ever I am within the 3-row range of those two, then I will be sent for forced 7-day quarantine in some resort in Changi (not bad right? :P)

Even though I haven't received any phonecall or home visit from CDC yet, I made a choice to just stay at home. I wouldn't want to be famous in the company for bringing in our first office-related H1N1 case. :P

Anyway, I was googling around to check if Melbourne is as worse as they say it is in terms of H1N1 cases.... look what I found:

Australia's city of Melbourne has become the H1N1 flu capital of the world, according to a report... (from Channel News Asia)

greeeeat.... just great... [insert sarcasm here]

So now I'm stuck at home in my room (and still working... darn it!) counting down the days until everything clears up...

Huli man daw at magaling...

...na-po-post pa din...

Ako'y sa'yo
by Regine Velasquez

Tuwing ako ay hirap sa buhay,
Nariyan ka laging umaalalay.
Kahit pa wala ng pag-asa,
Lahat syo'y ginagawang tama.

Pinupuno mo ang lahat ng kulang.
Pinapawi ang lahat ng alinlangan.
Iyong ibinibigay ang lahat sa akin.
Kaya't aking tinig, iyong dinggin.

Ako'y sa'yo, magpakailanman.
Pag-ibig ko sa'yo'y ipaglalaban.
Hindi ka na ngayon mag-iisa.
Habang buhay ika'y makakasama.

Ako'y sa'yo, sana'y tandaan.
Hinding-hindi kita pababayaan.
Buong puso kitang mamahalin.
At paulit-ulit kong sasambitin.

Ako'y sa'yo, magpakailanman.
Pag-ibig ko sayo'y ipaglalaban.
Habang buhay ika'y makakasama.

Ako'y s'yo, sana'y tandaan
Hinding-hindi kita pababayaan.
At paulit-ulit kong sasambitin.
Ako'y sa'yo...

sorry kung may mali sa lyrics, pinakinggan ko lang... :P
(I don't exactly have the best listening skills...)

What's up, poopypants!?

So I haven't been actively writing lately... I have my excuses... (Some of us have jobs and real life, you know. :P)

A lot of things have happened lately. I guess the biggest highlight would be Tin coming over to SG last weekend. (Did I just hear you say "again?!" hehehe...)

Yes my kiddies... Now you know why this blog's so quiet. :P

Thank God for Philippine Independence day falling on a Friday, so she was able to stay a bit longer than usual.

Pictures to follow once she uploads them. :P

LOL...

Several people have been giving me links to this clip, but it was only recently that I managed to find time to watch it... It's crazy-funny! Enjoy!
