I went back to Manila on the early morning of April 9. By 5am, I met Tin, her mom, and his younger brother in the Airport. After a quick breakfast with them at the Airport, me and Tin proceeded to check-in. While inside, we waited a few more minutes for the boarding call for our trip to Cebu. To pass time, we ate (AGAIN?!), or more accurately, I ate again. :)

The flight from Manila to Cebu was smooth, other than a minor set-back for us during boarding. A mother and her child was sitting on our seats. She was asking if we can swap seats with her, since she and her child were assigned seats which weren't side-by-side. Tin, being the nice and generous person that she is, didn't mind. I, on the otherhand was grumpy all thought-out the trip. This was our first plane trip together and it sucks that we have to sit separately. I was seated directly behind Tin, instead of being seated beside her. Burotness!!!
After about an hour in flight, we managed to land safely in Cebu. We took a cab to Maribago Blue Water Resort.
Once we're there, we were welcomed with a necklace made of small shells.

After checking-in we went straight to the room to clean-up and rest for a while.
After cleaning-up and resting for a little while, we went around the resort.

After going around the resort, we had buffet breakfast.

After a hearty breakfast, we continued exploring the resort.

We saw the billiard table and the tabletennis table, which was free to be used by in-house guests. We played one round of 8-ball and 9-ball, where I was mercilessly hustled by Tin.
We also played tabletennis, but soon realized that we weren't cut-out for that sport. Since it was still too hot to swim, decided to head back to the room to rest for a while.
While taking a nap, may salbaheng bata na nag-picture... tsk..tsk...
After a quick nap, we decide to have late lunch. We ate at one of the cafe's inside the resort. We had pasta and pizza.
We continued to walk around and chill around the resort. Soon it was getting dark so we went into the pool to have a swim.
After swimming, we cleaned-up and prepared to have dinner.
We decided to have dinner at the seafood restaurant, where you can meet-and-greet your food before eating them.

We chose to have lobster and some fish whose name I do not know. After a very long wait, our food finally arrived.

Later during the dinner, we also ordered alcoholic drinks. This evening was our advanced celebration of our 6th month together.

After dinner, we sat on one of the wooden lounges near the shore to pass some time and enjoy the view.
We stayed there for almost an hour. We realized it was getting late so we went back to our room and called it a night.

Dinner with the LP Family
The LP family has been my "online family" since I "virtually" came out of the closet. We've been planning this dinner for the longest time now. Thankfully, most of the people we wanted to be there were able to make it.
We met-up at Starbucks in MOA. We chose MOA as the venue since it's halfway for most of the people in the group.
Meero was the first to be there, followed by Rhej, Sam, and Angel. Alzhel, Hazel, and Cyclone soon followed. After a few chit-chat, we decided to move to The Pit to have dinner.
Chettie and Gene followed during dinner.

The highlight of the night was when Tin was called on stage to jam with the band. She wanted to sing "Grow Old with You", but unfortunately, the band doesn't know how to play it. They opted to sing "Sway".
Did I ever mention that Tin used to sing for a band? Like a real band with real instruments and shit?! You should hear it to believe it. Her voice is just AWESOME!!!! Okaaay, I'm gonna stop being a stage-girlfriend now...

After a few rounds for beer, we decided to call it a night. But not before taking a group picture!

Lunch with (some of) the lunchberks
After our trip to Abra, me and Tin met-up with my lunchberks for, well, what else, lunch! :)
This will be the first time they will meet Tin in person. I prayed very hard that they would behave themselves. Thankfully, they did. (after I gave-out death threats :P)
Jas and Cheann were the first ones to meet us in Makati by 12nn. We then walked to Commons for some Filipino cuisines! Yey!
Mabel and Frank soon followed, no thanks to directions from Jas. :P pish!
For me, the highlight of the lunch was the Crispy Pata. :P
...and Mabel's "kodak-moment" expression when she tasted the buro! bwaaaaaahahaha... priceless!

We weren't able to catch-up much since they still have work to go back to. :(
Well, there's always a next time! And hopefully, buo na ang lunchberks nun! :P
I'd post more pictures here but they are still with someone else. (*ehem* jas *ehem*)
pish ulit!

ABRA! (part 2)
Day 3: March 29
We all woke-up late from last night's revelries. We were supposed to wake-up early, but it seems no one was in the mood.
After our morning rituals, we prepared to go to the market to buy some things we need for lunch and dinner. We also needed to buy some pasalubong like "kakanin" and the more sinful "Bagnet". After buying all those, we quickly stopped by the house and then proceeded to the farm to have lunch.
An entire Lechon was being roasted on the farm when we got there which got us all excited. Excited to a point that no one took pictures while we were eating!
After lunch, we laid the blanket again to have a not-so-quick game of in-between!

After a few hours of playing, we headed back to the house to clean-up to prepare for our travel back to Manila.
Once in the house, Tin's barkada started plotting a "surprise" for her. They have this recent tradition in their barkada that whoever has a birthday will have an egg bashed on their head. (weird yet funny tradition, right?)
Tin made the mistake of pointing-out that they weren't able to do it to her. She spoke too soon...
Her barkada called for a group picture, which starts out fine:

Then, someone yelled for a "wacky shot". Then bam! Before you know it, 2 hapless eggs are now dripping from Tin's head!

After cleaning-up, we rested for a little while.

Soon it was dark. We had dinner, and as usual tomato-and-bagoong was still a blockbuster.
After resting for a little while, we decided to hit the road back to Manila. But
before that, of course, picture-taking sessions!
The "formal" group picture:

And then someone yells "wacky shot!"... Thankfully, no eggs were harmed this time.

After saying our goodbyes and thank yous, we all jumped into the van. As usual, everyone was in high spirits. We stopped over some pasalubong shops for some tidbits.
Day 4: March 30
Soon we were already in the Expressway. By this time, almost everyone was sleeping.
Kuya Ronnel, as a joke, put his head on Chot's shoulders while driving. Dang and Ate Apple who were seated at the back saw this and screamed at Chot. Chot who was at that time, sleeping, woke-up in panic-mode and tried to get a hold of the steering wheel. Kuya Ronnel managed to stop Chot. He told her that he was just kidding. Obviously, this woke everyone up! (all, except Tin!)
We decided it would be best if we stopped for coffee. We stopped at the first gas station which had a Starbucks in it. Luckily, we got some coffee a few minutes before they were about to close-up.
After that quick break, we were once again on the road to Manila. By 3am, we were already at near Tin's house in Pasig. Tin's dad was there to meet us, and once inside the house, her mom was there aswell, waiting for us. This is the first time I am meeting them. Can you just imagine my awkwardness?!
After the usual "hello po", and other niceties, we dropped our stuff and went to Tin's bedroom to sleep.
We woke-up early morning and proceeded to fix my stuff. Tin did the packing as she was so much better at that than me. :p
By 11am, we were on our way to Makati to meet-up with my lunchberks for lunch. Now that's for another blogpost. :D
