Religion Hopping 101

I found a good website which I can use as starting point in my "religion hopping adventures".

http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/

The discussion of the religions are concise and well-structured, so this is really a good springboard.

Hopefully I'll find more indepth resources later, or better yet, actually talk to people who are in a particular religion...

usapang religion...

i've always wondered what my life would be if i grew up in a non-catholic household...

i mean, my family is tenaciously devout... every room has a designated "santo" (image), we have "pabasa" every holy week, we used to pray the rosary everyday at 6pm when i was younger (this tradition brokedown when everybody was suddenly busy even to have dinner together....), mass every sunday... all that catholic-whachamacallits.... name it, we've probably done it (or doing it still).

-------side story start-------
there was this one time, when i was a little kid, my mom was "forcing" me to dress up for sunday mass. i asked her what's the point of going to mass. (yes, the early beginnings of a religious anarchist...hehehe) Her answer was that jesus would be angry if we didn't, which i think confused me more at that time.
-------side story end-------

i was educated in catholic schools from kinder to college... which i think made matters worse. more questions were derived from the answers received... some questions were simply given shrugs and answers like "it's a mystery..." or "it's God's will" or "it's the church's tradition" yadayadayada...
don't get me wrong, i believe in God, but i really can't quite put my trust in the Catholic religion...

it was in college when i talked to someone about my situation. she said that it's good to question one's religion, but it shouldn't stop there. it is one's responsibility to find the answers. nothing's wrong with exploring other religions, she said she did it once before, and realized that the Catholicism is the religion for her. she said it gave her a greater appreciation of her beliefs. somehow i believe her because she really seems happy and at peace with her choice...
i wanted to do what she did... to go on this "religious journey" aka "religion-hopping" as she fondly calls it, but somehow, other things in my life got in the way, school, then work, then other things... i went on with my life, while my soul was miserably rotting away...

now i have this time to for myself, i figured i should be giving more time to the best (and quite neglected) part of me...

let the journey begin...

what i need right now...

I Need Love
by Sixpence None The Richer

i left my conscience like a crying child
locked the door behind me put the pain on file
broken like a window i see my blindness now

i need love
not some sentimental prison
i need God
not the political church
i need fire
to melt this frozen sea inside me
i need love

driving into town tired and depressed
like a flare the streetlight bursts an s.o.s.
peace comes to my rescue and i don't know what it means
i need love

To Cut or Not To Cut... researched version

Given that im bored, i tried searching for hairstyles that i might like.

I stumbled upon the Stellure Website which gives you a free analysis of your face shape and the appropriate hairstyle for you. You have to sign up though, so prepare your "for-spams-only" email addresses. Once you have signed up and filled up the questionare, several 3D model hairstyles are generated. Since i've decided to keep my hair short, these are some of the styles generated for me:

1. Everyday Layered Bob

Trim Period: 6 Weeks

Styling: Towel dry hair and then apply a styling product such as mousse. Either leave hair to dry or blowdry. Finish with a shinning spray and a light hairspray hold.

Maintenance level: low

Styling time: 5 to 15 minutes

--> i would never classify a hairstyle as low maintenance if it uses a styling product. my definition low maintenance = shampoo + conditioner + water + let-the-bus-do-the-drying.
If im going to sport this hairstyle, that means i have to buy a mousse, a shinning hair spray, and a light hairspray hold. low maintenance you say? I will never buy a mousse, unless it's the kind that has chocolate in it... yum!

2. Choppy Two-toned Bob

Trim Period: 6 Weeks

Styling: Blow dry 80% of moisture out, apply a light smoothing cream, using a small round brush take the hair in sections and curl the hair around the brush, hold in place and apply heat for 10 seconds then move away. Repeat twice. Slide brush out.

Maintenance level: Medium

Styling time: Allow 30 minutes to achieve this style at home or for a special occasion allow your stylist 40 minutes in the salon.

-->first of all, coloring my hair is not an option. i like it black. period. and what? i need to have a stylist? i actually have to hire a stylist to make me look like i just woke-up after a night-long party? what the hell is a light smoothing cream?

3. Razored Uniform Layers

Trim Period: 6 Weeks

Styling: Blowdry using a radial brush. Flick out ends to create the effect. Or used large hot tongs and dress out when finished. Finish with hairspray.

Maintenance level: Medium to High

Styling time: 30 minutes

-->forgive my ignorance, but what is a radial brush? forget that, how about tongs?, "hot tongs" to be precise... are those the kind you wear?? why then would i need it for my hair?? yeah... looks like i need a stylist....

4. Short crop with textured fringe

Trim Period: 5 weeks

Styling: Blast your hair dry at the roots with a hairdryer. Make sure you create as much volume as possible. Add the texture to the style with styling paste and hairspray.

Maintenance level: low

Styling time: Allow around 5 to 10 minutes to do your hair at home. When you go to the salon allow 1 hour and 45 minutes (including color)

--> okay, lets assume for one minute that a decent employer would give me a job given this hair... seriously... does this look like the kind of hair that would fit my bubbly personality? (where "bubbly" is used sarcastically) Why do i get this feeling i'd be involved in gang wars if i'd get this hair...

after all the search, im still quite lost. it seems like every year, i say to myself that i should get a different kind of haircut. but each time i sit in the salon chair, i find myself saying "trim lang please". why can't i stop playing safe??? i tell myself that i should try taking risks... but is taking risks the same as having a 50% chance of getting a really bad haircut? all this mumbling for a stupid haircut... i must be really bored...

To Cut or Not To Cut

6 days of no work has taken it's toll on me...

i'm bored, and now i'm turning against myself, or more specifically, against my hair. i'm really not the one to take utmost care of my hair... i think it's quite obvious. i find fixing ones hair too tedious... in fact, the mere act of "beautifying" oneself is too tiring for me. i have no idea how these "kikay" girls have the energy to do the things they do to themselves. im not saying stop taking a bath or brushing your teeth... im just saying, can't we just stick to the basics... ain't the hygiene stuff not enough? just saying...

anyway... back to my hair...

my dad tells me i should cut it, mom tells me don't, my kuya on the other hand couldn't care any less. and i am just completely clueless as to what to do.

if only being a bald woman isn't so frowned upon... how i'd love to be one...

Must Have

matagal na pla akong di nakaka-post ng lyrics...

Must Have
by Pupil and Barbie Almabis

Your gravity pulls me
Depravity feeds me
My destiny leads me to you to you

My feelings have grown now
Sweet feelings that somehow
Reveals itself so loud to you to you

And I am breathin’ hard
Looking for the sound of my soul
And I am breathin’ hard
Looking for the taste of something beautiful

You’re a must have
A must have
I must have you now

You’re a must have (I must have you now)
A must have (I must have you somehow)
I must have you now (I must have you now)

You spin me all around
I’m upside down, I’m inside out
I wanna get so close to you
But I’m so far away

I got the microphone
I tell you something you already know
I look for you in the broad daylight
You look for me in the darkest night

And I am breathin’ hard
Lookin’ for the sound of my soul
And I am breathin’ hard
Lookin’ for the taste of something beautiful

You’re a must have
A must have
I must have you now

You’re a must have (I must have you now)
A must have (I must have you somehow)
I must have you now (I must have you now)

I look for you in the broad daylight
I look for you in the darkest night
You taste so sweet on the tip of my tongue
I look for you in the brightest day
I look for you and I want to say
Your words are sweet on the tip of my tongue
And everything is done

After 3 trashbags...

di pa rin tapos ang paglilinis ko sa kwarto...
'nak ng tokwa... ganun pla kadami ang gamit kong di ko na kelangan...
mostly papers, some nung highschool pa ako... ang lala noh?

the meat hiatus

It's been two weeks since i stopped eating meat.
(im not counting the time i ate spaghetti with lots of ground pork in it... it was a party and it's impolite to say no...but i did stay away from the grilled chicken and pork)

so why stop eating meat? hhmmnn... it started when i had intestinal problems due to shrimp intolerance. i really didn't feel like eating something meaty. so while surfing for vegetable recipes, i ended up watching this video on animal cruelty. this video was filmed in the US, and im pretty sure the meat industry here in the Philippines isn't as cruel. but after seeing the video, i can't help but feel sorry and at the same time disgusted. Some people say that animals are here to serve the purpose of being man's food. Well if that's your argument, why not eat your dog or your cat? See... it's just not right, it's cruel, and it's disgusting. then what makes the other animals less than your household pets? are they less intelligent, less social, less adorable?

if you still want to eat meat or have a weak stomach, you might not want to see this:

-------
animals are friends not food...

plano, plano, plano...

so ngayong officially jobless na ako, what's next?

4. catch up on my reading
dami kong books na di pa nababasa.... may binigay pa yung projectmates ko na book about photography(thanks guys!). tsaka si donna din binigyan ako ng uber cool (and heavy) book(thanks donna!). can't wait to read them all... :)

5. play the guitar

syempre may matinding pahinga in between... :)

ja, magpapaka-taong grasa muna ako... :)

Good bye's and Thank you's...

Last friday was my last day in the office...
Hindi pa talaga nag-si-sink-in sa akin na that was my last day. it's weird...

Syempre, first on my list of thank you's ay ang aking lunchberks. like i said before, sila ang isa sa pinakamalaking reason kung bakit ang hirap umalis sa NSP. I really don't know how to thank them for everything we've been through... :)
Pati ang mga projectmates ko na nag-tyaga sa kakulitan at pang-"bu-bully" ko, also deserve my thanks...
Gaya ng sabi ko, lahat naman ng tao sa NSP mababait... medyo weird nga lang... hehehe...
I will surely miss NSP. I can only hope na yung next job ko ay halos same environment.

they just keep on quoting...

a few months ago, someone quoted my sam milbo post in pinoy exchange... not really my proudest moment... thank God it's no longer online...

now, i just found out that someone "quoted" my camotes island picture from my flickr account to a pinoy exchange forum thread on "Davao vs. Cebu"

im not really angry or anything at anyone for using my pics, in fact im flattered. a "by dyingsonnet" caption was below, so credit is given where it is due and social justice is served...yadiyadida.... although i would have picked the other camotes island picture over this one.

picture in pinoy exchange

a better picture

well... whoever posted the picture, good luck on your mission to promote Cebu...
it really is a great place... :)

4 days to go...

apat araw na lang, and im officially free...

im actually excited because i'll finally have time to do the things i want and need to do. for starters, i really need to fix my room. sobrang dami ng gamit na nakatambak lang sa tabi-tabi...books, papers, CDs, etc. i also need to catch-up on my reading. i still have 4 books which i bought but haven't read. i also want to start playing the guitar again. it's been quite a while since i played. i wonder how rusty i am. another thing i want to do is to organize my files on both PCs at home and also the ones in my external HD. geez, i've never been this excited about cleaning!
haaaaay! can't wait to be free!!!

The Five Biggest Workplace Myths
Posted on Wednesday, June 6, 2007, 12:00AM

As I've written before, the workplace is experiencing massive cultural shifts due to changes in both demographics and technology. Consequently, there are new rules for getting what you want out of work.

But some people still continue to give advice that only applies in the old, outdated office. Here are the five biggest myths about the workplace today, and new ways to think about the issues they raise:

Myth 1: Getting a promotion is good

Promotions aren't created with you in mind -- they're created with the company in mind. But you need to pick the steps that are right for you. You deserve a customized career, so be wary of all promotions.

Most people who are good at their non-management jobs won't excel as leaders. It takes a very specific personality type to do better as a leader than as someone who's actually doing the work. The irony is that people who are conscientious about getting their work done are promoted into leadership positions that don't value conscientiousness so much as being open to new ideas.

Also, the average salary increase is 4 percent. Is that going to change your life in any meaningful way? Getting a promotion is so last century. Instead, negotiate for training, mentoring, or flex time. These are all things that will really improve your life and your career.

--> this i agree with... sometimes promotion isn't always good... but having higher pay definitely is! :)

Myth 2: Hide gaps in your work history

The most productive, organized, and excited people are those who respect ideas enough to take a break and have some. In the best cases, a gap in your résumé is evidence that you're both thoughtful and productive.

So it's not whether you have gaps that matters, but whether you talk about them well. Tell a good story about your accomplishments.

A gap is only bad if you go back into the workforce with nothing to show for it. As long as your résumé shows progress, curiosity, and increasing responsibility, you'll be fine. And it's very hard to show these things without switching things up on a regular basis.

--> yup, gaps can be good... but on your next job interview, try to make "i just feel like bumming around for awhile" sound smart and profound... :) send me a comment when you've made up one, i might be needing it within this year... :) hehehe....

Myth 3: Sexual harassment laws protect you

News flash: If you report sexual harassment it'll probably hurt your career. The law protects companies from getting sued for sexual harassment, and human resources professionals are trained to circle the company and protect it as soon as someone reports a problem. This isn't to blame people in HR -- there's nothing else they can do because the law dictates this behavior.

When you do report harassment, the most likely thing to happen is that you'll lose your job because of retaliation. Yes, that's illegal, but it's pretty much impossible to prove in court. But let's say you can sue and win: You'll get a settlement that's too small to allow you to retire, you'll be virtually unemployable in your field and career, and your harasser will probably do the same thing to your replacement.

Before you accuse me of being indifferent to social justice, please know that I'm not saying this is OK. I'm saying that unless you're independently wealthy, you can't afford to single-handedly face down the injustice of sexual harassment laws. So unless you're in physical danger, figure out how to make the best of a bad situation and move away from the harasser if possible.

--> now this is just downright unbelievable... im not so sure if this is the case with US companies though... but this is just sad if true...

Myth 4: Your first job out of college matters a lot

Don't place too much importance on your first job -- you'll have many more. Most people have 8 jobs before they turn 30, and that's fine. It's nearly impossible to know what career will be a good fit for you until you start trying things.

So give yourself the latitude to try a lot. And don't get hung up on a big soul search -- you don't need to know the meaning of life to land a great job, just the meaning of hard work.

Entry-level jobs typically can't cover the cost of rent, college loan payments, and insurance premiums, all of which are rising faster than wages, so moving back into your parent's house is a smart step toward finding a career that's right for you.

If you don't have to worry about paying rent, you have more flexibility to take a job that feels right but pays very poorly. The rise of the prestigious but unpaid internship intersects perfectly with trend to move back home.

--> yup, true... but it's less annoying though, when your talking to a person who actually knows what "NEC" is... [insert flashbacks here] "NEC? call center ba yan?" ... wow... if i had a peso for each time that was asked... i'd have.... well...nevermind... :)

Myth 5: You'll be rewarded if you do a good job

You'll actually be rewarded only if you're likable. So spend your days trying to figure out what people need and what people want, and how you can help them. Empathy makes you likable.

The people who don't want to have to deal with kindness will complain. But for most of us, it's big relief to know that the workplace of the new millennium demands more kindness and respect than ever before.

--> oh shit! don't tell me i've been doing it wrong all this time?! di pla dapat ako nagtatrabaho?! bullshit!

Im losing money... virtual money... :(

waaaaaaa.....

ok... im still not selling...
i'm hoping that the stocks i bought will eventually go up.
*cross-fingers*

thank God this ain't real money. :)

Marry, Boff, or Kill

In the tradition of 30 Rock, im bringing you the game the TGS writers love to play during their idle times... "Marry, Boff, or Kill".

The mechanics, given 3 people you have to classify them using, obviously, "marry, boff, or kill" and by "boff", they mean "do the nasty with"... hahaha... funny!

if you dont have friends to play this with, the 30 rock website has a slightly different game for this. kinda like tetris, where personalities fall down (like tetris blocks) and lying below are the 3 categories. you have to navigate the blocks using the arrow keys. do it fast and think about it pretty well, as all categories have a limited slots. 5 "marriables", 5 "boffables", and 5 "killables", you might end up marrying kevin federline! (and we all know how nasty that would end up!)

You can also view the statistics of the past games other people played.

here are the intersting figures:
45% would love to kill ryan seacrest (me included). 43% would marry bill gates, and i bet there a billion [dollar] reasons why people would answer that. 45% would love to kill alf (me too), interesting how ryan and alf are tied at 45%... hehehe...
58% would love to kill kevin federline (top 3 so far) 49% would boff cristina aguilera. 40% would boff johnny depp. 45% would marry einstein. and 35% would marry fred flintstone... hahaha... now that's funny!

the game is a little US-based as there are american politicians like al gore and condoleezza rice. you can just base it on the "looks factor", as there are pictures in the block if you dont know the person... :)

check out the game:
http://www.nbc.com/30_Rock/games/MBKgame.shtml

here's the top male and female, and top 3 picks for each category:

30 Rock rocks!!!

im hooked to a new tv series, 30 Rock.
imdb describes the plot as:

"Liz Lemon, head writer of the sketch comedy show "The Girlie Show", must deal with an arrogant new boss and a crazy new star, all while trying to run a successful TV show without losing her mind"

the description does not do the series justice.
you just have to watch it to appreciate it's humor... but then again, mababaw lang naman ang kaligayahan ko... hehehe...

Tina Fey stars as Liz Lemon. She also writes and produces the show. please dont judge the "actor/writer/producer" title, i understand the apprehension as most movies/series with these kind of people have a tendency to suck... remember ronnie ricketts?... need i say more??? But Tina Fey's different... she actually does have talent! :) If the name rings a bell, you probably watch Saturday Night Live. she also stars in that show, and she's also the head writer. (although i don't really like that show....)

i think 30 Rock is available through cable... star world i think. or you can just download them in your favorite bit torrent download sites...

i cant wait for season 2...

i'm earning money... virtually....

im currently playing in the stock market...
virtual nga lang... hehehe...
check it out... virtual stock exchange... hehehe...
for those who want to play in the market, but don't
have the money or the guts... :)
http://vse.marketwatch.com/Game/Homepage.aspx

my initial investment was on IBM, with 100 shares.
Each share costs $106.08. I initially lost 0.03.
But as of press time, i have a 0.32 gain! wooohoo...
if only these were real money... damn!

now i invested on Viragen Inc, a medicine company.
since may bird flu scare, i think mukhang tataas
ang value ng mga shares nya. plus mababa ko nakuha
yung price ng each share ($0.05 per share) from the
original price na $0.50 per share last july. so either
this company's going to the shithole, or it's eventually
gonna go up. I bought 1,000,000 shares (total of $45,900.00
worth of investment)

im currently number 42 out of 220 traders...
the standings are changing quite frequently...
if Viragen goes down... so do i...
it's an awfully big risk...
however, if it picks up, even to half of it's original price,
woooohooo... virtual money baby! virtual money!!!

shit... im excited about money that aint real...
must be the meds im taking... stupid flu!!!

virtual money!!!!! virtual money!!!!
mwuuuuhhhaaaaahahahaaaa....

masama bang wala pa...?

i always get that odd look when people ask me kung san ako lilipat after my resignation, and i answer back na "wala pa".
masama bang wala pa? I know it's impractical, syempre, lalo na kung breadwinner ka.
siguro, swerte lang ako at supportive ang mga magulang ko (in short, papalamunin nila ako ulit habang wala pa akong trabaho...)
actually, marami akong plano, maraming gustong gawin at matutunan. pro after a really good rest siguro, tsaka ko sila magagawang concrete.

going to singapore is definitely an option. ang tanong na lang e kung kaya ko ba talagang magtrabaho sa ibang bansa at kung kaya kong sakyan ang culture nila. gusto ko rin sanang mag-aral. kung papalaring makapag-trabaho ako sa SG at di naman ganun kabigat ang trabaho, i might try to get an MS degree. haaaay... nangarap na naman ang bata.... hehehe...

pro seriously, this time, i will do my very best na gawin lahat ng gusto kong gawin... i want to be part of something big, but first, i want a clean slate...

nag-usap na kme ng japanese manager namin kanina. nung morning, nag-send sya ng email with 4 questions, related sa pag-re-resign ko at kung anu daw ang suggestion ko for improvements sa company. then nung hapon, pinag-usapan namin yung mga sagot ko. medyo mahabang usapan, pinaliwanag nya sa akin na yung ibang changes mahirap talgang gawin. meron din syang mga pieces of advice for me. mabait talga sya.

ja, pahinga muna... di daw kelangang pumasok bukas! walang support! buti naman...

Tuesday, May 22, 2007

the die has been cast...

or in my case, the resignation letter has been handed-in...
ang tagal bago ko ito nagawa.
matagal na syang plano, ngayon lang nagkatotoo.
ang hirap pla talaga.

nung sinabi ko sa japanese manager namin,
mukhang ok naman. pro kanina, bago ako umuwi,
nilapitan nya ako and asked me kung pwede daw kameng mag-usap bukas...
waaaaaaaaaaa....

wala lang...

can't wait to just sleep all day...

decisions... decisions....

ang dami kong dapat pag-desisyonan sa mga darating na mga araw...
pro wala ako sa mood mag-isip... gusto ko munang magpahinga...
mahirap plang mag-hand-in ng resignation letter...
ilang buwan ko na sya pinag-iisipang gawin, pro di ko magawa-gawa...
promise, next week... gagawin ko na sya...
i can't wait to be a bum... gusto kong matulog ng mahabang oras... yung walang iisiping problem pagkagising... haaay... buhay...

ika nga ng japanese manager namin...
"give me a braak!!!"

nyaaahahaha....

golden compass quiz

got this from the golden compass movie website...
it's the film adaptation of Philip Pullman's book of the same title.

It's about a girl, in whose world, all people have "daemons". No, not the background process, you geek! According to the movie/book, daemons are animal spirits that accompanies people through life. Actually, it's more than just a companion, it's more like a person's own soul... (char...)
So parang "what kind of animal are you" ang dating... :)
If you want to know your daemon, check out http://www.goldencompassmovie.com/
here's mine:
nice name noh? "Arkadion"

A can of beans a sugar tooth?
You dig a hole under your greed
You follow down until you bleed
You don't know how it feels
You don?t know how it feels

Oh busy one oh busy two
None for them and all for you
The can of dreams you sold your soul
Someone when and poked a hole
Now there are days when you feel bad
You almost feel the heart you had

The kid inside your head
Keeps asking why the
World has the nerve to keep turning
And why the sun has the balls to keep burning?

Oh fickle one oh fickle two
it's back to work what can you do?
Someone else will take the time you've got yours and i've got mine
Your nagging heart wont settle down as you stop to look around

The kid inside your head
Keeps asking why the
World has the nerve to keep turning?
And why the sun has the balls to keep burning?
And why the moon has the gall to keep staring?
And why your heart can not stop caring stop caring stop caring?

The kid inside your head keeps asking why the
World has the nerve to keep turning?
And why the sun has the balls to keep burning?
And why the moon has the gall to keep staring?
And why your heart can not stop caring caring caring stop

Tumatakbo
by Mojofly

Laging bigo laging sawi sa pag ibig
Minamalas o kay sakit
May balat nga ba ako sa pwet
Mabuti pa ang tindera sa aming kanto
Nakakaingit TL ang sweet nila ng
Kaniyang nobyo
Gusto ko lang maranasan umibig
Tamaan ni kupido
Gusto ko lang maranasan ang langit
Tumibok muli ang puso ko

Tumatakbo ang oras naiiwan na ako
Ng panahon
Di na nagbago bawat araw pare pareho
parang kahapon
Tumatakbo ang oras

May birthday cake ka nga
Ngunit wala naman kandila
May christmas tree na malupet
Wala naman dekorasyong pansabit
Sadyang ganyan ang aking buhay
Walang kasing tamlay
Ayoko sanang tumandang nagiisa

Tumatakbo ang oras naiiwan na ako
Ng panahon
Di na nagbago bawat araw pare pareho
parang kahapon
Tumatakbo ang oras
Tumatakbo ang oras

Tatanggapin na lang ba ang malupit
Na tadhana o kayay
Tatanggapin na lang ba na akoy
Sadyang hindi pinagpala
Tigilan na ang drama
Punasan na ang luha

Tumatakbo ang oras naiiwan na ako
Ng panahon
Di na nagbago bawat araw pare pareho
parang kahapon
Tumatakbo ang oras naiiwan na ako
Ng panahon
Di na nagbago bawat araw pare pareho
parang kahapon

Tumatakbo, tumatakbo,
Tumatakbo naiiwan na ako
Tumatakbo, tumatakbo,
Tumatakbo naiiwan na ako
Tumatakbo, tumatakbo,
Tumatakbo naiiwan na ako

S.O.S.

How do you eat a strawberry shortcake? Do you start with the strawberry or do you eat it last because it’s the best part?
Strawberry On the Shortcake (S.O.S.) – Jdrama (10episodes)
A roller coaster of unrequited love and foolish sacrifices people go through, that would leave viewers thinking “that’s so high school”! Don’t get me wrong, it’s good, although the obsession with ABBA music by the people behind this drama seemed all too weird for me. I couldn’t help but laugh when I heard the opening song…. I’m sure most people will…. “Chiquitita”… yes ladies and gentlemen… that same song the show tropang trumpo spoofed with the “Mikey Cojuangco” line in it…. Yes… laugh it of… you know you want to. Ok, now stop.

Seriously now… I hate to admit it, but I cried a few times. I guess it’s a very universal theme… “you love her but she loves someone else”. And just to make things extra dramatic and excruciatingly painful, you have to help her be with someone else, simply because that would make her happier…sadly enough, that’s all that matters. Fools! (yes, im bitter! :) ) It makes me want to shout at the screen…”Oh why don’t you just kick him in the balls!”
Rain and piano, that’s all you need to make me cry (and perhaps much less). Imagine this, it’s raining heavily, and the lead girl is outside the school building. She is watching the other guy play the piano. Suddenly, you realize why she isn’t getting wet…. Camera pans out, you see the lead guy holding an umbrella out for her, watching her fall miserably in love with this other guy. Now insert a melodramatic piano piece here that the other guy is playing. Apparently, the other guy is also grieving over someone else. It is perhaps the longest chain of unrequited love I’ve ever seen. I think it totals to 5 people loving someone else, who loves someone else.
I don’t eat strawberries, but assuming I do… on strawberry shortcake, I will eat it last, because it is the best part. I save the best for last.

And that is why I cannot forget you…

On taking risks...

Got this from some website... wala lang... :)

We all have a negative voice in our heads who stops us from taking risks. I'd like to review a few risk taking techniques that I use regularly to get great results. Try 'em and see how you do. I think you'll be pleased with what you accomplish:

DON'T THINK TOO MUCH BEFORE TAKING A RISK. The easiest way to get into a cold swimming pool is to jump right in. The same can be said for taking risks. Hesitating will only psyche you out.

WHEN YOU JUMP, JUMP BIG. Don't hold back. Fully commit yourself.

IF YOU DON'T A-S-K, you won't G-E-T. Come right out and ask for what you want. People will appreciate you being straight with them.

EMBRACE FAILURE AND REJECTION: Think of failure as an opportunity to learn. If things don't work out, figure out why. Then make some changes and try again.

BE A JUDGE, NOT A SUSPECT. Don't worry about what others think. Instead, you should be the one who does thinking. (This doesn't mean be judgmental. It just means believing that your opinion and way of doing things is as good as anyone else's.)

FOCUS LESS ON YOUR IMAGE AND MORE ON WHAT YOU WANT. Do what you must to
succeed without concern for your reputation or appearance.

FOCUS ON FACTS, NOT ON FEELINGS. Don't let insecurity lead to incorrect assumptions about yourself. Examine your situation and wait for tangible facts before determining whether or not there's a problem.

PRACTICE TAKING RISKS. It does get easier.

ASK YOURSELF WHAT YOU REALLY HAVE TO LOSE. Most of the time it's about ego and less about any real loss.

GO FIRST. Have the courage to something before waiting to see if others are willing.

TAKE RESPONSIBLE RISKS: Never risk your physical safety or the safety of others. Always pursue healthy goals.

Make these practices part of your lifestyle and I will guarantee that you will be a more powerful leader and more fulfilled human being.

who's sunny?

Sunny Came Home
by Shawn Colvin

Sunny came home to her favorite room
Sunny sat down in the kitchen
She opened a book and a box of tools
Sunny came home with a mission

She says days go by I'm hypnotized
I'm walking on a wire
I close my eyes and fly out of my mind
Into the fire

Sunny came home with a list of names
She didn't believe in transcendence
It's time for a few small repairs she said
Sunny came home with a vengeance

She says days go by I don't know why
I'm walking on a wire
I close my eyes and fly out of my mind
Into the fire

Get the kids and bring a sweater
Dry is good and wind is better
Count the years, you always knew it
Strike a match, go on and do it

Days go by I'm hypnotized
I'm walking on a wire
I close my eyes and fly out of my mind
Into the fire
Light the sky and hold on tight
The world is burning down
She's out there on her own and she's alright
Sunny came home
Sunny came home...

Unexpected Love

A friend of mine asked me if I could download the L Word season 2 soundtrack for her. Of course it was no big deal, except for the fact that I have no idea what the L Word was. At first I thought it was some movie, but thanks to google's help, now i know that it's a television series. And I'm guesssing it's a series that will never be shown here in this country... Why? Well, it's a lesbian tv series. But apprarently, according to my friend, you can have a copy of the dvd from your friendly neighborhood pirata... hhmmnn... what else can't you buy in this country???

So after 1 day.. (yes, not so many seeders for this particular soundtrack) I finished downloading the soundtrack... and i must say... i wasn't expecting it... but i love it! I've never loved any other soundtrack like this. The nearest would have to be the Serendipity soundtrack. It's this amazing mix of many things. From mellow songs that will just make you want to fall in love to kickass dance mixes that would tempt you to blast your speaker's volume to maximum. I love it!!!

One song I particularly love the most is "No Other Love" by Heart. I swear, the song gave me goosebumps...and to think the lyrics is so simple. I guess it's the way the song was sang... it's something you just don't listen to... it's something you have to feel aswell.
Now i'm trying to download the season 3 soundtrack. And as of now, no one is seeding the season 1 soundtrack. I'm hoping they're equally good.
Makes me wonder if the series is as good as the soundtrack...
My friend warned me about the series (and i quote) "It's not for the frail of hearts and innocent of minds" hahaha.... i just had to laugh. Well, if I survived Wong Kar Wai's "Happy Together", I'd like to think my heart is not so frail and my mind is definitely not as innocent as people think it is... :) Plus, my highschool life pretty much revolved around an exclusive school environment. Believe me, I've seen / heard / been though a lot and I don't think an American TV series could corrupt me any more than I am now. :)

I might borrow her copy of the series anytime soon.
But for now, Im enjoying every second of the soundtrack...
"And I can go, I can go anywhere.
No other love can take me there."

When sadness just conquers me...

*sigh*
i don't know... im beginning to think I'm clinically depressed...
there are just days when i'm so sad and i don't know the specific reason...
maybe there are just so many things bothering me right now, and i can't pinpoint the one that's causing me this unhappiness and dissatisfaction...
I know there are many things in my life i should be happy and thankful about... but somehow, i feel like im missing something.
*sigh*

napansin ko lang while browsing... accurate ba?... hahahaha!

Your Job Dissatisfaction Level is 38%

Your job is not bad, but it's probably not a long term thing.
You're just not happy enough to stick around for too long...
And there's little that can change how you feel.
Start looking around for other options, but only quit for something really good!

ako si Elmo?!!!....Di ako natuwa...

You Are Elmo

Sweet and innocent, you expect everyone to adore you. And they usually do!

You are usually feeling: Talkative. You've got tons of stories to tell. And when you aren't talking, you're laughing.

You are famous for: Being popular, though no one knows why. Middle aged women especially like you.

How you live your life: With an open heart. "Elmo loves you!"

given a choice...

ym topic with a high school friend...
ito ang scenario...
Given a choice between two people, kelangan mong piliin yung tao na you'd be with for the rest of your life... so, who would u choose:
1. Guy na sooooobrang panget... as in "insert-quasimodo-here" ang itsura, at soooobrang panget din ng ugali...
2. Guy na nasa kanya lahat ng hinahanap mong ugali sa isang lalake, pro ang catch... bakla sya... as in mas-maganda-pa-sya-sa-akin type of gay...
single-blessedness is not an option...
ako... hhmmnn.... go with number 2... hehehe.... i cant imagine living with someone na di ko kasundo yung ugali...
and atleast di sya magrereklamo pag nagtatagal ako sa mall.... :-D hehehe...
at kung pano kame napunta dyan sa topic na yan... at kung pano sya nag-evolve, di ko na maalala... mahabang istorya... hahaha... :-D

Is there such a thing as love at first sight?

napaka-cliche ng tanong...
at kung ako ang tatanungin mo nyan few years ago...
i'd probably say no.
pro how can one be sure?
di naman porke di mo pa nararamdaman, ibig sabihin ay di na sya totoo, di ba?
wala lang... hehehe...
being a "man of science" (naks...) nag-research ako... (in short, nag-google... hehehe)
Do you believe in love at first sight? Scientists study our brain activity and say that it’s quiet possible but everyone is free to believe or not to believe.
.....
Psychologists say that love at first sight depends on our psychological state at the moment.
.....
Very many factors act in the situation of falling in love from the first sight. These are our ideals, intuition or “fast logic”, imagination etc. When you fall in love at the first sight you are usually ready and willing to fall in love. Less possibility that it will happen if you are tired, stressed, solving problems in you mind.
---> probably explains kung bakit halos lahat ng kilala ko di naniniwala sa love at first sight... most of them fit the description above... heheheh.... pish!
wala lang uli... :)

"I dare you to move..."

Follow your heart!

Good luck...

will surely miss u...

Current theme song ko daw... hahaha...

Blush (Only You)
by Plumb

When you look at me I start to blush
And all that I can see is you and us
Well, baby I'm so free to be in love
With you, with you

I wanna be in love with only you
I wanna watch the sky turn grey and blue
I wanna know the kiss that always new
I wanna be in love with only you, just you

The stars will fall and dark will light the way
We'll hit the ground and fall into the shade
I'll light the night with fire and run away
With you, with you

I wanna be in love with only you
I wanna watch the sky turn grey and blue
I wanna know the kiss thats always new
I wanna be in love with only you

I wanna be in love with you
I wanna be in love
I wanna be in love
I wanna be in love with you
I wanna be in love
I wanna be in love
I WANNA BE IN LOVE WITH YOU

I wanna be in love with only you
I wanna watch the sky turn grey and blue
I wanna know the kiss thats always new
I wanna be in love with only you
Just you, yeah
Just you, yeah
Just you

I wanna be...
Just you...
yeah

Picture! Picture!

These past few days, i've been planning to go to different places to take pictures. I figured, it might be a nice hobby / distraction from all the things that have been bugging me for quite some time now. Last saturday, i planned to go to Fort Santiago and Luneta. Yah, i know, chessy places... but i figured, it might be interesting. It's been years since i've gone to those places... last i was there was probably when i was in gradeschool... hehehe...

However, like any other thing i plan to do in my life, it never pushed through last saturday. i had to run some errands at home. I wasn't quite disappointed since what i was asked to do was slightly related to what i wanted... taking pictures... hehehe....

My dad asked me to take portraits of each family member, (or atleast those who are still here in the country.) He said he wanted to put it in frames for display. Why is my dad asking me? Am i that good??? Of course not! no way in hell....it's just that im the only one in the family who knows how to use the digicam...hehehe...

Portraits aren't really my thing. Given a choice, i'd much rather take pictures of inanimate objects... simply because they dont complain when it's taking too long, or when they look too dark in the picture (when in fact, they are dark in person... :) ) So this task is indeed a challenge... Given that i have no previous experience in portrait photography, i had to recall some of the instructions i got from those people who get class pictures from way way back in high school... yes i know... the situation is that desperate...hehehe....

The pictures were pretty average... definitely not done by a professional, but for people who have eyeglasses as thick as my head (ok, may be not THAT thick...), it was nice... But then again, they're my parents so i can never really tell if they really like it or they just dont want to hurt their little baby's feelings...hehehe...

But of course, it doesn't end there... my dad asked me if it's true that pictures can be edited using a computer...Yes, i know, the question did make me laugh too... (though i didnt laugh when my dad asked me... :) ) So obviously i said yes... which was probably a bad answer... hehehe :)
He asked me if i can "erase" some "age lines". . What the hell... Might be fun... So i let photoshop do it's magic... with my dad closely watching over my shoulder...making sure that i was making him look good in the picture... :) So... a little clone here.... and there.... color balance... etc...etc... after a few more tweaks, walla! my dad couldn't be happier... And now he's planning to run for the elections all for the sake of posting his pictures all over the city... hehehe... of course he was kidding... he was just really pleased... even called my brother in singapore to tell him about it... hahaha....

My mom, of course, didn't need to be "photoshopped". Well, for a person who took nearly an hour to preparefor a 5-minute picture-taking session... she'd better look good! Grabe! kinareer! It makes me really wonder why i never got any "kikay genes" from her... hehehe....

My eldest (and darkest... :) ) brother asked if i could "shed light" upon his "dark image".... nyaaahahaha... Again, thanks to photoshop... i had another satisfied (and non-paying... hehehe) customer... :)

My other brother (the PT dude) didn't need to be "photoshopped"... although i was quite tempted to put a "wig" on his picture... just for kicks... hehehe... :)

Im sure going to different places would be fun... going on an adventure... taking pictures of things you haven't seen before...But this day made me realize that sometimes you really dont have to go that far to have fun... :)

definitely no place like home...

rainy days and mondays

I hate mondays because its the start of a veeerrrry long work-week.
In short, im lazy!

I hate rainy days only when im about to go somewhere in which i have to use public transport.
Dont get me wrong, i have no problems riding buses, jeeps, etc.. but some people can be such a bitch when it's raining!

What a better way to start my week... It's monday (a given fact), plus, making things extra special,
it rained just a few minutes before i was about to leave our house. Great! just what i needed!

And since it's monday, the traffic jam of both vehicles and humans are much to be expected.

As i was waiting for a bus with a bunch of other people (some of which are already starting to be bitchy), mother nature thought that this was the best time to test my patience. The rain poured! Big time! All the buses that passed by us were already filled with people. But some people still insisted on riding, running after the bus and hanging on for dear life.

I used to do that when I was a little younger. I can't believe i survived 2 years of college doing that!
Imagine me, wearing the all-white college of science uniform, black leather shoes, backpack, and other school stuff, elbowing my way to ride a much-in-demand bus, just to make it to my 7:00am physics class... those were the days...

As much as i'd like to show the world that i can still do the same stunts i did when i was younger, i was in no mood to join the mob in harassing the buses that came by us. For about 30 minutes, I waited with the other "passive" passengers in hopes that an empty south-bound bus would miraculously fall down from heaven, which of course, never happened.(Otherwise, i would have asked for a sports car... "yung red" :) but we all know how that ends up too.... )

So i decided to just get a cab. Apparently, all the cabs there have a "terminal" (or just some random place where they "gang-up").
So when i reached the "gang":

Me : "Ma, MRT, north ave."
Manong: "250 po"

Whaathe?????? This guy has got to be kidding me?!!!

Me: "250??????"
Manong: "Mahal na po gasolina ngayon e"

Yah, for people like him, just about the same price as honesty and integrity, i suppose...

What i really regret is that i wasn't able to get the plate numbers of all the taxi's there.
I was too pissed off, so i just walked away as fast as possible.

So, back to my usual post in the bus stop... I was hoping that the number of people would have thinned up, but somehow, they've figured out a way to clone themselves and to multiply by the minute.

Still waiting... waiting.... waiting.... then i remembered my mp3 player! The music might cheer me up a bit...Select shuffle mode... press play... put on earphones... Oh! Great! guess what's playing...
Adding insult to injury..... "Laughter in the Rain" (not kidding here...) The Fates have decided to bully me today...I could swear i can hear little voices laughing at me... Hallucinating... people pointing at me, shouting "Loooooser!" I nearly lost it, thank God, my finger decided to press the next button in the mp3 player....

Now, listening.... waiting... listening.... moving a little, just to check if this is all real. i check my watch... it's 8:45am... Great! Even if i get a bus now (which is next to impossible), I'd still be late for work...

So what's the most logical thing to do... Get a tricycle... go back home... sleep!
At the nearest tricycle terminal:
Me: Manong, molave st.

after driving for about a few seconds...

Manong: miss, pag hinarang tyo, sabihin mo taga-parada ka. Yung mga tricycle drivers kase dyan nanghaharang e.

whatthe??? apparently, tricycle drivers here have "turfs". In my case, since i am from fortune village 6, i'd have to ride a tricycle from the terminal that's about 80 meters away, not the current tricycle terminal im in at that moment.
Pati ba naman dito may dishonesty pa din??? but atleast FINALLY, something worked my way...

I reached home, watched 3 movies in a row, and currently typing this in crimson editor...

Still waiting for the rain to stop...

------

rain, rain, go away, come again another day...
'cause someone's got to work today...

cluttered closet

Ever feel like parang ang dami mong kelangang / gustong gawin pro di mo magawa kase di mo alam kung san mag-uumpisa or more like, tinatamad kang umpisahan.....?

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.... I feel like a cluttered closet.
Ang konti lang ng laman, pro ang gulo-gulo... nakakatamad ayusin... sarap iwan na nakatambak na lang ang mga gamit...

the things in the closet:
1. Study specs for the new project.
2. Study for JLPT level 4
3. Study for Java Certification
4. Continue with my "music" hobbies
5. Get a new and "useful" hobby.
6. Finish the books I bought

for now, wala pa kong natatapos... i need a plan... pro pati yun, prang ang gulo-gulo din...

minsan, naisip ko.....pwede bang itapon na lang lahat ng laman ng cabinet at sunugin?

waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...........

one of the sad songs of my life...

Pag-alis
by Barbie's Cradle

Kung wala ka ng gustong sabihin
Wag ka ng tumingin ng ganyan
Kung bukas ako'y kalilimutan
Sana naman ngayo'y di mo na isiping ako'y tawagan

At habang may panahon wag na nating hintaying
Lumalim pa at masakit ng tanggapin
Ang pag-alis ng iyong liwanag
Na gumising sa mahabang gabi
Ika'y langit pero baka masanay
At di kakayanin ang iyong pag-alis

Kung wala ka ng gustong marinig
Ako'y aalis at mananahimik
Ang kahapon na nais kong limutin
Sana naman wag ng manumbalik at bigyan pansin

-----

lesson learned:
kung di kayang panagutan...
wag na lang simulan....

wala lang... gusto ko lang....

If i were the rain...
that does connect the sky and
the earth which can't meet
and hold on eternally,
would i have been able to connect and
hold onto someone's heart?

- Bleach-Memories In The Rain

asking for a sign...

i know it's gonna happen...
i just don't know when...
i need a sign...

Excuse me, Mr. Milbo?... Mr Wimby? ... Mr. Wammo? pwedeng pa-autograph...

(ganun pa rin yung way nang pagsabi nya...)
ako : "huh???"
projectmate na may crush ke sam: "nandyan si sam.... sam milby!"
donna : "huh??? sam who?"
ako : "hahaha?!!! talga?! jas will die when she finds out!!!"

so fine.... dahil wala nga si jas to faint over this event, we figured na ibili na lang sya ng cd ni sam at kapalan ang mukha namin na mag-pa-autograph.

before that, kinalangan muna namin cguraduhing si sam milby nga yun...
fine, puntahan ng mas malapit... at this point, may nakita akong mga babaeng nasa bandang tabi nya... frozen and giggling.... hahaha....

yung naka-green na nakatalikod....

ok, sya nga!

so diretso kame sa OPM section to buy the CD. Tinanong ko yung babae sa counter kung meron silang marker. wala daw. (at nilinaw ko na hindi para sa akin yung CD... hehehe..)
but somehow, the cosmos wanted jas to have it... Merong marker c sally!!! what are the odds of that??? Swerteng bata 'tong jas na to ah?!

so here comes the hard part...
nagmamadali naming hinanap si sam... baka kse umalis na... at ayun, nakita namin sya ni donna sa may sulok... hehehe...

ako : "ah, hi! we don't mean to be rude...... (some random sentence)... but can we have your autograph... it's for a friend.... she's gonna die when she get's this (or something like that)"
sam : "oh, sure it's ok.... (or something like that...) "
sam : "did u just buy this now? (or something like that...)"
sam : "i have a repackaged cd... it has My Girl..." (nagpromote pa tlaga...)
donna : "nice movie... " (refering to the "So Close" dvd sam was holding)
sam : "yah... i also bought Gary V.... " (refering to the "Gary V" cd he was holding)
ako : "you should get barbie's new album " (syempre, nag-promote pa... :) )
sam : "oh, yah! that's a great idea!"
ako : (what?!!! wala ka pang album ni barbie?!!!! u f*&#g retard!!!!!) --pro syempre di ko sinabi to...
donna : "could we also take a picture (or something like that)"
sam : "sure.... (or something like that)"

donna's holding the cam... (mautak na bata!.. pra nga naman di sya sama sa pic...)

ako : "opsss.. teka, bakit ako lang??!!!"
(looking at my projectmates, pleading for help)
buti na lang, sumama si frank at melissa sa pic... kundi... eewww..... scarred for life...

after the pic was taken, we said thank you and ran for our lives... :)

projectmate na may crush ke sam: "bilisan natin, nasusuka ako..."

huh??? what the... that's weird... :)
hahaha...

buong dinner, yung "autograph incident" ang topic... hehehe...

jas,
nahawakan ni sam yung jacket ko...
bilin mo na, mura lang... hehehe.....

ps:
pot, sori di ka namin nabili ng CD... medyo late ko na na-realize na fan ka nga rin pla... (teka, secret ba ito? hehehe.....)
mas buang lang kse c jas ke sam... kaya sya kagad naisip ko...
next time, pag nagkita uli kame... hehehe... as if... (feeling close.... hahaha) :)

feeling ko may isang bata na madalas magpupunta sa M1 tuwing friday night... :)

On silence and chickens

lying in the dark and cursing the neighbors
it's too early for me to sleep, but im way too bored to do anything else. The night would have been perfect for a nice long rest, except for one thing... Our neighbor (some dude) is having a videoke session, or as i'd like to call it, a deathwish. Even the usually noisy chickens are quiet tonight, perhaps contemplating on committing suicide, rather than listen to the neighbor perform yet another round of "Seasons in the Sun". Atleast the dogs were brave enough to bark in protest.

"we has joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun"....
somebody...anybody... kick this guy in the balls pleeeease...

And yes, dreams do come true!
The dude finally stopped singing! Either that, or someone actually kicked him out of his wits. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, sometimes, justice prevails!

Silence? Is there ever such a thing?
It's soooo nice and quiet. The dogs stopped barking too! It's almost too good to be true. Being the pessimist that i am, any moment now, I'm expecting a marching band to play right and front of our window. Ok, that may have been too over the edge... Perhaps, yet another scorned wife will shout her lungs-out to her two-timing husband...Nope, still quiet... Hmmmnn... Well, maybe not tonight. I'm still wondering what the catch is...Ok, maybe there is no catch. Perhaps, every once in a while, our dear neighbors grow some common courtesy in their backyard garden. Ahhhh.... What a great night to rest!

I knew it! I'm crazy, I'm crazy!
Unfortunately, my mind is mocking me... Instead of having a nice and undisturbed rest on this unusually quiet night, this song keeps playing in my head : "we had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun..." To make matters worse, there's an image in my head of chickens laughing... mocking me... I knew it! I'm crazy!

da vinci, sleeplessness, and omen

one... two... three... three sheeps... ahahahaha....
i seriously couldn't sleep last night...im not sure why. I tried counting sheeps... wala din, naalala ko lang yung episode sa sesame street na nagbibilang ng sheeps si count dracula...hehehe...
Maybe naninibago ako since matagal din akong nagstay sa bahay tpos last night biglang sa apartment na ako natulog. or maybe di ako pinatulog ng fact that the movie da vinci code sucks to the high heavens.

So dark the con of ron
Ron Howard! What have you done! Seriously, Dan Brown should sue them for doing a movie that falls terribly short of what readers of the book expected (readers = me :) )

Date na lang, pinagkakitaan pa...
666 - june 6, 2006. Opening ng Omen. not so sure if its a remake of the old omen or if its an addition to the long line of omen sequels... gusto ko rin manood, pro ayaw ko magka-nightmares... lalo ngayon na hirap akong matulog...

Being alone, being free, being me,and chopping people up! all in one movie night

for the record, i have friends
I watched a movie(da vinci code) at glorietta1 alone. Ok, before you start calling me names like loser, outcast, friendless bastard...etc... Let me clear things up. U must be wondering where my friends are?! Well, some have watched it already, others dont even want to watch it, others just have other things to do. So u see, i have friends, they're just not available this moment.

i can live with or without you
So what the hell! I said to myself, "With or without friends, i will watch da vinci! Whats the deal ba about watching a movie alone? Di nman kyo magchichicahan s loob. All u do there
is just sit and watch and for the sake of the others watching, keep quiet. I mean its one of
those things u can do and enjoy alone, unlike badminton, chess, basketball. etc...

lights on, the shame, the shame
I know it shouldn't be a big deal. But once the movie was over and the lights were turned
on, i felt a certain sense of shame. Shame that i was alone and the other ppl around were
either in couples or in groups. I know very well that there's nothing wrong about being
alone, but somehow i feel this certain paranoia about what other ppl think.

what do u think sir? How bout u maam?
Have i (or we) been reduced to this? Creatures whose satisfaction out of something must be inconformity with others? Individuals whose view of what is acceptable is constantly modified, depending on the view of the world? Have i become too dependent to the point of losing my own identity? Nooooooooooo........ [insert echo here...]

it's just that i, it's just that i...
Not that i want to be a rebel or something. I just want to have a point and stand up for it. no matter what it is and irregardless of what others feel or think about it. I just dont want to worry about what others would think about me. I just want to be understood without having to explain. I just want to be free. I just want to be me. Unfortunately, it aint that easy. But believe me, im trying!

suki, bili na mura lng per kilo
sabi nila, you cant chop people up and love them in pieces. Kelangan buo, both good and evil. Question is, kung may malaman kang "masama" tungkol s taong mahal mo, mamahalin mo pa ba ang buo nyang pagkatao? Wala lang, di ko rin gets kung pano ko npadpad s topic n to... I guess it has something to do with being free.

napulot ko lang somewhere...

gender sensitive version of Spiderman?

nearly a week...

tuesday night
started to have an ichy throat

wednesday
the itchy throat turned into cough.
mabel stayed home kasi may lagnat at ubo sya.
later that night, i went straight to bed (literally) tipong gumising lang ako pra magtanggal ng sapatos. at ayun na, nilagnat na rin ako... :(

thursday
pumasok pa din ako kahit masama pakiramdam ko...
(which was quite a wrong decision)
bumigay din ako nung bago maglunch, so nag-file na lang ako ng undertime at umuwi sa apartment.

friday
di na lang ako pumasok, masama pa rin pakiramdam ko.
umuwi na lang ako sa bahay namin sa valenzuela.
may lagnat pa din ako...
there's no place like home... :)

saturday
feeling a little bit better. wala nang lagnat, pro masakit pa rin ulo ko. :(

sunday
fever, cough, and cold is now gone. my head and back still hurts though...
not so sure kung papasok na ko bukas... baka daw kse mabinat lang ako. :(

he's not worth it...

he's not worth the tears...
marami pang iba dyan...

---

what ever happens...
no matter how much i nag (or as i call it, "care" ) :)
and no matter how stubborn (or as u call it, "persistent") u are...
do know that im here... :)
